They started their career as a portrait photographer back in 2012, and in 2015 they expanded their business to include videography. In 2019, Beeh decided to focus on their passion for weddings and started offering services as a wedding photographer and videographer.

Since starting their freelance career, Beeh has worked with a wide range of clients, including small businesses, non-profits, and individual content creators. They have a strong understanding of the creative process and are able to provide insights and feedback that help their clients bring their vision to life.

Beeh's work is dedicated to preserving life's most important moments. They believe that every moment on your wedding day is worth remembering and should be captured in a way that is unique and interesting. Beeh's work often features bright colors, compelling compositions, and a beautiful balance of close and wide shots. Meet Mars (she/her)

Hi, I'm Mars, a Kentucky to Kansas transplant, photographer, and co-owner of Cloudy Day Weddings. In 2026, I left my corporate career to focus full-time on documenting love stories across Kansas, Missouri, and the Midwest.

I learned photography from my spouse, Beeh, after we met in college in Kansas City. Since then, we've built a life around adventure, storytelling, and helping people feel seen. We even planned our own wedding that way: a spontaneous celebration with our best friend officiating, tequila shots, and celebrating after with our dogs!

As a queer woman, documenting LGBTQ+ weddings and families is deeply meaningful to me. I'm also passionate about celebrating multicultural weddings and traditions. Every couple deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and fully themselves in front of the camera, and I consider it a privilege to tell those stories.

A few things about me:

  • I love planning, organizing, and keeping wedding days running smoothly.

  • I'll never turn down a good coffee shop recommendation.

  • I'm absolutely your hype girl. When I photograph you, I see all the things your favorite people see: your joy, your connection, and everything that makes you wonderful. My job is helping you see it, too.

What Makes Us Different

You have many choices to make about your wedding, and within the decision of documentation, there are thousands of photographers and videographers. Why choose us?

First, we take the time to get to know you. Your wedding is a reflection of your unique love story, and the people documenting it should take the time to understand your connection, your values, your family dynamics, and your preferences. Weddings sit at a key intersection of family dynamics, religion, cultural traditions, and personal beliefs. Whether your commitment includes a chuppah and ketubah signing, a tea ceremony, a hand-fasting, or a ritual of your own making, we document with reverence and care.

Second, we take pride in our craft. We have spent years honing our storytelling skills and learning the ebbs and flows of a wedding day. We plan each day meticulously to ensure we capture your story while giving you space to relax. We stay on top of changes in technology, research and select gear that keeps up with the fast pace of a wedding day, and we edit carefully and consistently to provide high-quality images and video you'll look back on for a lifetime.

Third, we are people with values. We believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect. For this reason, we decline MAGA and MAGA-coded weddings. Everyone else is welcome.
