There's no one "right" way to get married. Maybe it's a spiritual connection guiding your partnership, a handfasting ceremony by the water, a room full of people who love you, or a quiet, private commitment between the two of you. Whatever it looks like, your ceremony should feel like yours.
My name is Mars Moynagh, and I provide custom secular, poetic wedding ceremonies in the Kansas City metro. With years of experience in the wedding industry, a background in religion and writing, and a passion for public speaking, I will craft a ceremony custom to your story and your commitment.
I am ordained through Universal Life Church and American Marriage Ministries. I am not affiliated with any religion.

We meet to talk about your story, your people, and how you want your ceremony to feel-tone, pacing, and any rituals or special elements.
-
I draft your ceremony, thoughtfully crafted to reflect you, your relationship, and what this moment means.
-
You review & approve: You'll have space to request edits so everything feels right.
-
The ceremony: You bring your marriage license and any required witnesses. I show up, hold the space, and guide you through the moment!
-
You're married! You return the signed license to the county, and you're officially, legally, married.
