Venue: Strang Reserve in Overland Park

Alison and Nate met in 2019 on a cruise and dated long distance for a year before moving across the country to be together. Their beautiful queer wedding at the Strang Reserve in Overland Park, Kansas featured brunch and board games. Every detail was truly curated to match the love and intention of their relationship. 

A family friend officiated, and he has known the couple throughout their entire relationship, including when they met! He spoke movingly of their relationship and commitment to one another, as well as to their friends and loved ones. 

Every single person at this wedding was the coolest person I've ever met. One of the bridesmaids sported chunky polly-pocket heels in lavender, the wedding party was covered in expressive tattoos, and clearly everyone both knew themselves well and felt safe to be their authentic selves in this space. That energy truly speaks to the kind of friends Alison and Nate are: their circle is filled with folks living joyfully out loud.
